1 liter water jug (glass is recommended)

Steps:

Wash, peel and chop ginger into small pieces or cut into thin slices.

In a pot, bring water to boil. Then add the ginger.

Let the water with ginger boil for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, turn off the burner, cover the pot, and let the tea sit (heap) for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, pour yourself a cup and taste.

Ginger varieties differ in taste and spiciness. If too strong, add water to your cup. Also, use less ginger in your next batch and keep adjusting as needed.

You can also add lemon juice, orange rind, cinnamon or honey to make it your own. Keep in mind, if you are looking for the health benefits of ginger tea, try to keep the recipe simple with no added sugars and definitely, no honey.
